How to prepare for a job-interview?
Preparing for a Job-interview is critical and makes most people a bit nervous. That perfectly ok. We have made a list to help you prepare for the interview.
Understanding the company background and the job
- Research the company - use their website to find out about finansials, values, organisation
- Find out who will be present at the Interview - remeber to ask how much time is apponted and who will be present
- Imagine what the atmosphere will be like - formal, strickt, informal, creative or even loose - this is important for your preparation.
- Where will the interview take place - is it a formal meeting at a recruiting company or the company HR department - or a less formal meeting with a single person in a division - maybee at a cafe?
- What are the companies challenges and success criteria in the job? What is the situation for the company: expansion, status quo or ressession?
These questions should guide your approach to what clothes to wear, your attitude at the interview and your questions for the company.
